In the small meeting room of a tired-looking condominium building, the atmosphere was tense. The Homeowners Association (HOA) meeting was in full swing, with eight distinct personalities gathered around a modest table. There was Saul, the 70-year-old president of the HOA, living in Unit 3; Eddie, the 29-year-old vice president from Unit 2; Mickey from Unit 4, a 65-year-old man who preferred phone calls over physical meetings; Charlie, the 60-year-old owner of Unit 8; Franklin, 55, from Unit 7; Mia, the 43-year-old Chinese resident of Unit 5; Shlomo and Lilith, a Jewish couple from Unit 6; and the ever-cool Mr. Smooth, 39, from Unit 1.
